Best wishes to you all for Christmas and for 2014. Our Monster Raffle and Christmas party on the 7th December will start with a quick meeting at 10 am followed by a sausage sizzle, a plate of goodies would be welcome. Then we draw the raffle with over a hundred prizes.

Congratulations to Rosemary Wallace on being made a life member. Rosemary has given years of service and donations to the club.

From the Library Vault: If researching family that has served in the Australian Military Forces, check out our R.S.L Qld Death Records from 2008 – 2013. It gives their last and first name, service number and sub-branch they were registered at. Located in our cemetery section at CEM MIL RSL, and is not for loan.

Reminder: as stated in the minutes from 20th July, books and magazines borrowed from the library are to be returned within 1 month, unless the club has been contacted for an extension. There will be a $5 fine for any that are overdue.

Thank you to all members who submitted stories for Hindsight, expect to see them in the next few months. The next issue of Hindsight will available next week. The Hindsight was not published in March this year.

The committee apologise for the lack of a newsletter, we have had some publishing problems, which have now been resolved.

The Holiday break is over, the kids are back in school, and finally, we have some time to ourselves. Hopefully! Time to have a cuppa and take a deep breath and relax. But not for too long!
